Ken: Gue kemarin lusa foto di Kota Tua lho. Foto-fotonya keren banget. Jakarta tuh panas gila yah? Makanya gue kemaren berenang. Pengennya sih sama cewe-cewe pake bikini. Emang nasib adanya cuman gue an.... *he was looking at his paper here and confused* Emang nasib, adanya cuman gue and teman gue. Hari ini ada yang pake bikini ngga?

Translation: The day before yesterday I went to Kota Tua. The photographs are so cool. Jakarta is damn hot yeah? So I swim yesterday. Actually I want to swim with bikini girls. Bad luck, it was only me and.. *he was looking at his paper here and confused* Bad luck, it was only me and my friend. Is there anyone wearing bikini right now?

Ken: *looked thoroughly at the audience* Bikini..! Doko? Oooh, nice bikini girl. (note: actually no one is wearing bikini)Semalam gue makan mie goreng, nasing goreng, sama sate. Nasi gorengnya gokil! Man man... ?

Translation: *looked thoroughly at the audience* Bikini..! Doko? Oooh, nice bikini girl. (note: actually no one is wearing bikini) Last night I ate fried noodle, fried rice, and satay. The fried rice was damn good! Man man... ?

Translation: I bought souvenirs for hyde in Pasaraya (note: Pasaraya is a department store that specialized in selling Indonesian traditional souvenirs)

Ken: Gue beli wayang, gamelan kecil, pulpen wayang, gantungan kunci, sama ganjelan pintu. *while ken talking, hyde open the box that consist of 'wayang'* By the way busway, si hyde pasti sekarang ngga ngerti kita ngomong apa.

Translation: I bought wayang (traditional marionette puppet), little gamelan (traditional music instrument), wayang ballpoint, key holder, and door stopper. By the way bus way (note: this is just a pun), hyde definetely doesn't understand what we're talking right now.

Audience: *laughing*

*hyde arranging the gamelan by himself and then ken help him*

Yuki: *play the drum-bass* (note: maybe he was trying to say 'Hurry..!)

Hyde & Ken: *finished arranging the gamelan*

Hyde: *trying to play 'suling' (bamboo flute) couple times but failed*

Hyde: *show one of the presents to Ken, with confuse face*

Ken: Door stopper

Ken: Kaminori... (note: sorry I didn't understand what he was saying) *hyde and ken play with the kaminori*

Ken: Terima kasih *bowing* Sama-sama. Abis ini gue bakal... eee? Matte. Abis ini gw bakal suruh hyde mainin tuh suling sama gamelan. Mantap!

Translation: Thank you *bowing* You're welcome. After this I will... eee? Wait. I will ask hyde to play 'suling' (bamboo flute) and 'gamelan' (traditional music instrument). Mantap!

Audience: Mantap!

Ken: Man man man..!

Tetsu: Suaranya mana? Suaranya mana? Apakah kamu mau pisang gue? Atau kamu mau jilat lolipop gue? *throwing banana & lollipop* Masih mau diteruskan? Masih mau diwrwrsrwgss? *he cant repeat the word 'diteruskan' correctly* Masih mau diwrwrsrwgss? *he was trying to repeat again, but he failed for the second time*

Translation: Where's the noise? Where's the noise? Do you want my banana? Or do you want to lick my lollipop? *throwing banana & lollipop* Still want to continue? Hi minna..! My legs is hurt since I was standing and queuing for more than 7 hours. But it was worthed!! Laruku gave their best performance and burn all their energy. I was sooo excited when there was a firework at the beginning of Ready Steady Go. There was no fireworks when I watched HK concert. For me, the outdoor venue is very unconvenient than the indoor one, but I think that Laruku really looove to have an outdoor concert and they're really excited too! Hyde even changed his outfit after the encore, of course it was because of the sweat (I was soaking in the sweat too btw). I'm glad that Indonesian promotor and Laruku decided to choose outdoor venue for Jakarta. I'm also proud to see that the audience is divided half by half for man and women (50:50), this I rarely see when I watched Laruku's Japanese concert on DVD.

 

We were laughing sooo hard on Ken MC. OMG. Ken is always being Ken, regardless which country he is in. And I was glad that hyde, tetsu and ken can say all bahasa (Indonesian language) almost perfectly. I think that for Nihonjin, bahasa is much more easy than English, because some of bahasa's words can be spell almost nearly as hiragana.

 

I can't say how much I thanked L'Arc and their management for having a concert in Indonesia. As a developing country, there are many international artists (including Japanese artists) who doesn't include Indonesia as their destination country for holding a concert because of safety & political stability issues, though they having good album selling and huge fanbase in Indonesia. We even experienced many times when international artists cancel their concerts in last minute because of that issues or any other unannounced reasons. I am so proud and so happy that L'Arc management is considered Indonesia/Jakarta as a safe & conducive country/city, together with well developed countries such as France, UK and US.

 

Thank you, thank you, thank you soooo much, L'Arc-en-Ciel!! I was sooo glad that L'Arc concert in Jakarta was going on smoothly without incidents. So please please please dear L'Arc, keep your promise and come again to Indonesia in near future.
